For this publication I explored the shoegaze subculture that emerged in the UK during the late 1980s. I chose shoegaze because I wanted to challenge myself by turning the sound of the genre into a visual design.
I used distorted photography, wavy graphic elements, and a pink colour palette inspired by Loveless (1991) by My Bloody Valentine to reflect the style of the genre and reference one of its most influential albums.
